Cordata, Bellingham, Washington
|

The Cordata Mixed-Use Business Park (Cordata) is located in North Bellingham, 1 hour south of Vancouver, British Columbia and less than 2 hours north of Seattle. Cordata’s comprehensive master plan was designed to create a dynamic mix of residential, business, retail, and light industrial uses in a campus-like setting. Cordata takes advantage of the surrounding natural beauty: 100 acres of the total 600 acres are dedicated to a mix of open space, landscape areas, ponds, and scenic trails.

Neighboring the parcels are two well-established, multi-discipline medical clinics (Madrona Medical Clinic and SeaMar Clinic). Also within Cordata is Whatcom Community College, a 63-acre campus with over 7,000 students. Currently under design is a neighborhood “town center” that will provide retail and professional services to the residents of the Cordata and neighboring areas. At full residential build out, Cordata will include approximately 1,900 homes.
Immediately adjacent to Cordata are three major shopping areas: Bellis Fair Mall, with over 900,000 square feet of retail space; Cordata Power Center, with Costco, Macy’s Home Store, Best Buy, banks, restaurants, and other “big-box” retail outlets; and Cordata Place Center, featuring Bellingham’s largest grocery store and ancillary retail services.
