Trillium sees its downtown Bellingham properties as an opportunity to fuel the long-term economic and aesthetic health of Whatcom County's urban heart.

Since the 1980s, Trillium has purchased a number of properties in downtown Bellingham. Several have been remodeled for retailers and corporate offices and enjoy 100% occupancy under current ownership.

As the area continues to add residential units and implementation of the waterfront development proceeds, Trillium's future plans are focused on properties with views and high mixed-use potential. Hotels, residential, retail, office, entertainment and cultural facilities are among the uses being considered.

Planning and programming for two properties in Old Town (Boss Tweed and Pace site) are underway.
